About Me

Growing up in Virginia, every spare moment was spent with pencils and crayons. I never got over it.  I've studied art, drawing, and painting at the Loudoun Academy of Art and in private lessons.  I still live in Leesburg, VA, taking commissions and selling my work in shows and at   Freemans Easel  .

Many of my paintings are in acrylic, which seems to suit my style and temperament perfectly. However there are subjects that draw me toward oil, graphite and 

colored pencil as well. 

  Wildlife and vignettes of nature comprise much of my artwork. So you may find me rambling along the river bank or roaming back roads  capturing inspiration.

Whenever I travel, my camera and I prowl the beautiful rural and wilderness areas.
